How SearchCrow works
1. We ask the AI assistants your customers’ questions
You tell us your business, website, location and up to five competitors. We suggest around 25 questions a customer might ask, such as “best emergency plumber in Leeds” or “is Acme any good?”. You can edit them.
Every week we put each question to ChatGPT and Gemini (Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews are being connected), using their official interfaces with web search switched on. We ask more than once, because AI answers vary.
2. We show who gets recommended
For every answer we record whether you were mentioned, how high up, whether your website was cited, and whether the tone was positive. We do the same for your competitors.
Your dashboard shows your visibility score, your share of mentions against competitors, the results by AI assistant and by question, and the websites the AI relies on for your trade.
3. You get a to-do list, and drafts to do it
We turn the results into a short list of fixes, most useful first: pages to write, listings to claim, wrong details to correct, reviews to respond to, and problems on your website that stop AI from reading it.
Press “Help me do this” and we draft what you need: page copy, an email to a website editor, a reply to a review, or a snippet for your website. When you mark a fix as done, we show how your mentions change afterwards.
What we don’t do
- We don’t scrape chat apps or use fake accounts. We use the official interfaces the AI companies provide.
- We can’t pay or ask AI assistants to recommend you. Nobody can. We help you give them good reasons to.
- We won’t write fake reviews or spam forums for you.
